Ruth E. Goranson formerly of Libertyville Memorial services for Ruth E. Goranson, 80, will be held at a later date. Born May 13, 1922, in Chicago, she passed away Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002, from complications after suffering a stroke in Florida Hospital Heartland, Sebring, Fla. Ruth was a 30-year Libertyville resident, lived in Gurnee for eight years, and in Avon Park, Fla. since 1999. Prior to moving to Libertyville in 1960, Ruth had lived in Chicago, Bay Village, Ohio and Frankfurt, Germany. She was a graduate of Senn High School and was a generous, loving mother, grandmother and career homemaker. She was also a former member of Grace Lutheran Church in Libertyville. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Ralph E. Goranson, whom she married in 1945 upon his return from World War II; children, Robert (Valerie) Goranson of Libertyville, Jeffery (Pat) Goranson of West Peoria, Sally (Jim) Dunn of Carpentersville, Nancy Goranson of Fond du Lac, Wis., and Carol (Anson) Mount of Algonquin; sister, Helen Seefeldt of Des Plaines; sister-in-law, Marion Hauschild of Gurnee; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Beatrice Hauschild; brothers, Edward and Richard; and grandson, Craig Michael Dunn. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720. Arrangements were made by Burnett-Dane, Funeral Home, Libertyville. On Sunday 13, Oct 2002 starting at 1:00 PM and Ending after 3:00 PM. It was a packed house.

They Are Located on the North Side of Park Ave. (Illinois Rt. 176) in Libertyville Just West Of Milwaukee Ave (Illinois Rt. 21).
