Salute

I Stand In Awe

Of The Flame Riders

Who Risk All

With Each Flight

Who Witness Earth

Our Home, Our Egg

As One Blue Marble

In Vast Empty Void,

Who Spend Long Years

In Preparation And Support

Waiting For The Ride!

The Ride Which May

Bring Death,

Long And Lingering

Or In A Moment,

Fame Or Brief Mention

In A Hurried After Word

To A Crowded Newsday.

I Stand In Awe

Of Such As These

Heroes All

Flame Riders, Torch Bearers

Future In Our Midst.
